RULES FOR THE USE OF PACIFIC HIGH SCHOOL STADIUM
1. No parking of cars on the north side of Sunset Drive.
(There is parking on the south side of Sunset Drive; there is parking on Congress
Avenue; and there is a large parking lot between the high school and the upper field
that is immediately next to the stadium.)
2. No pets or other animals are allowed in the stadium.
3. Do NOT go onto the track or the field area or while the previous game is still going on.
You may sit in the stands or wait in the area near the snack bar; or you may warm up on the
upper field just outside of the stadium.
4. No running on the track while wearing cleats. If you have to retrieve a ball, walk gently
on the track to get it. Generally avoid being on the rubberized track while wearing cleats.
There are mats you should walk over at the two entrances to the track in order to cross it to the field.
5. Although we have rented the whole stadium, people from the community will want to use the track for walks and runs.
We should try to accommodate them as long as they don'tt interfere with the game or stand around spectating
(spectators are to remain in the stands).
6. Only drinking water is allowed on the field - no food, no gum, no candy, no peanuts or similar things and
no beverages other than plain water.
7. ALL alcoholic beverages are prohibited on school property, so be SURE to tell any friends who come to watch the
game to leave the beer (and anything else that contains alcohol) in the car.
8. The bathrooms will be unlocked - be sure to keep them clean and report any problems to Tom Moore,
Brad Weber or Ernesto Pacleb.
9. We will have to move the goals off the field at the end of the last game of the day. LIFT the goals and carry them
CAREFULLY. Do NOT drag the goals on the artificial turf - it damages the turf and obviously this stuff
doesn't grow back.
10. During games, the only people allowed inside the fence around the track are the two teams that are playing,
their substitutes, coach, manager, the referees and non-league people using the track for walks or runs.
Everyone else must be outside the fence that goes around the track.
11. Only turf shoes or molded cleats are allowed. No screw-in or screw-on cleats and no metal cleats are allowed.
12. Remove all trash from the field and the stands when you leave after your game is over.
Pick up and remove someone else's trash with you when you see it. Trash bins are located by the restrooms.
13. We have a permit for just the games shown on the schedule published on the website.
Do NOT use this field outside these scheduled games unless you have obtained a permit.
Sincerely,
Tom
