Britannia Arms FC:
The Britannia Arms FC has been around since 2000. When a much spritelier
Johnny "the Jock" Heenan formed an indoor team to play in Watsonville.
That core of lads was then entered into the MPSL soon afterwards and struggled
initially, but found its place among the league’s contenders shortly after.
Recruiting from a pub is not always the recipe for success, but in 2008 a
rejuvenated team has surfaced with plenty of well-known veteran faces and
some solid young talent. Now back, with a new kit and sponsor (Carlsberg)
and a strong desire to compete for this year’s crown!
Blood, guts and glory!
